In 2017, Poland Spring proudly served as the official water sponsor for the Boston Marathon, a prestigious event that attracts top athletes from around the world. Tasked with creating an ad campaign that would seamlessly connect these elite runners to the Poland Spring brand, we launched a comprehensive and vibrant marketing initiative.

Create a contextual message and design for the Boston Marathon that tells the Poland Spring Greatness Springs From Here story.

 

THE SOLUTION
Designed a key visual and campaign tailored to resonate with an active and
health-consciousaudience, seamlessly aligning with the spirit of the race.
The primary goal was to raise awareness about the 16.9 oz Poland Spring sports bottle and ignite excitement among both race participants and fans throughout the entirety of the 2017 Boston Marathon – from pre-race anticipation to the post-race celebration. The strategically placed ads adorned key locations in Boston weeks prior to and following the event, ensuring a sustained impact and visibility for the campaign.

As the lead art director, I crafted custom bus wraps, trolley wraps, print ads, and bike hub signs
with dynamic and inspiring visuals that highlighted the vital role of hydration in athletic performance.
